Efootball: Konami grabs player rights of the MLS

The MLSPA (Major League Soccer Players Association) takes care of many concerns of professionals from the Supreme US football league, including marketing and licensing in cooperation with group licensing representatives. In a large package decor, Association and Agency have given the presentation of MLS players in video games to Konami, as the developer announced on Monday. Thus, these will be fully licensed and to play as original as possible in Efootball.

As a multi-year milestone video game agreement, the MLSPA refers to the cooperation in the official communication on its website. In addition, eleven stars of the MLSPA will act as ambassadors for the newly designed title. Jonathan Dos Santos of Los Angeles Galaxy, Josef Martinez from the Atlanta United FC and the Caden Clark awarded from RB Leipzig to the New York Red Bulls, the most famous representative. The rights will include the names, numbers, images, and optical features of the MLS players for the upcoming video game franchise.

The more active global football experience

Of course, aim is to create a greater commitment to the North American football hospital. If we develop our celebrated football video game series into a new brand direction, there is a key element of this transition to inspire our North American audience for the redesigned Efootball franchise, said Konami President Takayuki Kubo. The partnership with MLSPA and ONEAEM will allow us to expand our presence in North America and deliver our fans the more active global football experience.

Also on the part of the MLSPA, warm words were directed towards the new cooperation partner. The MLSPA is proud to commit with Konami to transport our players to the new Efootball world, Executive Director Bob Foose is quoted. The global football game community continues its growth and development. Our members are pleased to step on the stage of this new simulation platform.
