Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection will probably appear soon on Steam

An entry in the Steam database indicates that a Remastered Collection of Half-Life 2 is probably on the way. The new edition should be in the hobby team in development, which was already responsible for Half-Life 2: Update.

There are not yet available for details about the project, but according to insider Tyler McVicker is a Remaster of Half-Life 2 including the published episodes. In addition, the game is to be developed by Valve for Steam. An official new edition is still not that fans would not have to worry that the project suddenly disappears from the store again. A release for Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection was not revealed.

Already with Half-Life 2: Update, the creators have made excellent work, which was also celebrated by the fans. Among other things, the mod ensured full revision of the lighting effects and advanced the shooter for HDR support. In addition, the players were allowed to look forward to improved particle effects as well as optimized fog. Half-Life 2: Update is available for free at Steam. For installation, the main game is needed by Valve.
