Mario Kart Tour finally has multiplayer - but is it worthwhile to play? - Tour - Video Peeling news, instructions, exemplary procedures, reviews and culture
Mario Kart Tour started in September last year and honestly came to the market with a pretty lobe, confused reaction. Many players had the feeling that the Gacha mechanics lowered the quality of the game, the gold-pass subscription service felt naughty and the game was certainly very different than a traditional Mario-Kart experience.
Mario Kart Tour had a difficult situation with his unique, different touchscreen controls, some nice and some unfamiliar phases, which would lose some of the existing fans of the series and guarantees no new ones - something that has not helped through the lack of a multiplayer mode . Undoubtedly the best way to play a certain Mario Kart game.

But now Mario Kart Tour is finally extended by multiplayer mode, and since the current beta phase everyone can get in and try it out. We have learned a few new things about the mode and just ask us a question: Is it worth playing Mario Kart Tour?
Ultimate Mario Kart
When I play Mario Kart games today, I play multiplayer. I have no interest in playing against Ki characters to improve my scores and times, and for that reason, it's not what I'm looking for when I play the primary Mario Kart Tour. I am sure that many other Mario Kart fans goes as well.
It is unlikely that the Mario Kart Tour ever received a Battle mode similar to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Therefore, for now, we have to deal with the relatively simple Mario Kart multiplayer experience available in the open beta. And hope so that it is improved in the near future.
Here you will start against other players until they have a lobby of 8 - and this can take some time - and then they will compete against you on the well-known Mario Kart tour routes. That's it. That's the game. And at the moment it is honestly not great.
- The ultimate instructions for Mario Kart Tour
Without the NetCode, where the players occasionally jump irregularly over the track and dance, I would have assumed easily that I turn back to KI players again. But no, these are real people, and that will make it clear when someone breaks his game and you have to wait for his character to automatically reach the finish line.
At the beginning and at the end of each race on which they participate, there is a significant waiting times as the game synchronizes all players. If you have driven once races, this is not always smooth enough for the hit recognition for objects to work properly - more than once I'm seemingly straight through a BOB OMB explosion. Mysterious ...

What makes things much worse, is that at the moment there are not even rewards for multiplayer. Even if you win, there are literally no fanfare, no reward, not even a real recognition she won. It is simply thrown without a ceremony in another race.
It's really unusual and probably just because this is still a beta version, but it raises the question: Why play at all? There is no way to actually dictate with whom they play - such as with their actual friends - and the races are not played differently as a single player race. In fact, due to the net code and the missing rewards, it is far worse than just a single player race to repeat.
Maybe I'm too hard in an open beta to test how the service works, but even with regular coins rewards and challenges, the game is not a very convincing argument for itself.
- The Gold Pass Subscription by Mario Kart Tour is Nintendo Greedm Gift Carrier
I enjoyed Mario Kart Tour in the first month of publishing, maybe more than I should, and it was sincerely played for hours. But when I got down, I was done. I wanted the multiplayer mode to return me back to the game and it's worth it again, but that has annoyed me even more.
We all know that the Gacha mechanics, which restricts the use of drivers, karts and gliders, is annoying. In multiplayer mode, however, you have no chance if other real players play that subscribe to the Gold Pass. In the current form, multiplayer mode is only a "clever" way to give the players the feeling that they miss something if they do not decide for a subscription service. Amazing. Thank you Mario Kart Tour.
If it was not obvious, no, Mario Kart Tour is not worth being played.
