Text by spoiler tags black
To blacken a specific text passage or a whole message at Discord, there are three ways on the PC and smartphone:
- You set the key combination [Alt Gr] + [<] two-peculated strokes before and after the actual spoiler .
Example: The key to the chest finds your
|| under the stand in the entrance area ||
-
Alternatively, you can mark the job of your text and then select the eye icon .
-
If the entire message is to be blackened, the command
/ spoiler
writes at the beginning.
By the way, these spoiler tags also work for the link preview. If you mark the URL as a spoiler, the preview image for the website or the video is equally unrecognizable and is only visible after clicking on the image.
Pictures, videos & other content marks as a spoiler
Currently there are only in the desktop application from Discord the ability to mark pictures and other files as a spoiler. In the app for smartphones and tablets it is not possible (yet).
So that the (preview) image is highly blurry, you just have to set the hook at "marking as a spoiler" on the upload dialog ** under the comment field.
Incidentally, this works for all files - not just pictures and videos. For example, for example, the title of a text file is then visible only after just clicking on the blurred spoiler image.
